The Yin & Yang of Burlesque
a workshop for women and men
Burlesque as Tantra…to celebrate and embody the God and Goddess within each
being.
Each human being contains both feminine (yin) and masculine (yang)
energies. Going beyond gender-based ideas or stereotypes, we
will look at how these 2 forces are at play in each of us.
By acknowledging and exploring both energies, we can merge the
polarities into a harmonious union. In this sacred dance of
yin and yang, we can expand our bodies, hearts and minds into
temples of male and female divinity.
This is a workshop for both sexes, to explore the interplay between
these two energies within each person, as well as the forces between
men and women. In a playful yet safe context of burlesque
exercises, we can begin to accept and nurture
the inner God and Goddesses that reside within each of us.
From this united place inside, we can manifest more power, grace and
balance in our outer lives.

Costume and fun accessories that accentuate the class experience
are usually suggested prior to class time,
but are not mandatory.
When and where is this offered? Yin & Yang of Burlesque is offered at various dates and
locations throughout the year.
It is available as a day or evening workshop.
