Woo Hoo
Woo who?
What do you get when you combine a spiritual counsellor,
voiceover artist, actress, musician and burlesque performer
all into one? Why it's a spectacular little vixen by the
name of Little Woo.
After watching a burlesque performance that looked oh-so
glamorous, we wondered how we could learn to twirl like
that. Little Woo is, after all, renowned in Vancouver for
her spectacular performances. But she told us we could be
dancers too.
Now sharing her fusion dance techniques, a day at Little
Woo's brand new Burlesque Yoga Classes taught us how to
dance burlesque the yogi way, and left us shimmying all the
way home ($80 if you register by Mar. 23). (We loved our new
hula dance and burlesque routine, but what we didn't expect
was our newfound and extra kick of girl power.) And our ever
so slightly self-conscious side loved how the workshops were
for women only.
Next time we'll sign up for an Inspirational Workshop and
watch our inner self grow.
